The top photo shows the cottage before works with the main roof having been clad in an unsympathetic concrete tile and rather poor leadwork.
The lower photo shows the cottage after works .The main roof has been clad in an Eternit hand crafted clay tile and the leadworks renewed and tidied.
The lower roofs have had the old tiles reused.
We think overall the cottage has been enhanced by the use of more appropriate materials and improved leadwork detailing.
