Contracting Terms

APPENDIX 2 - COMMERCIAL MATTERS

1) CONTRACT MANAGEMENT

The Contract will be managed from site by our Senior Site Representative responsible for the overall contract management and supervision of the works.

2) SUB-CONTRACT
Our offer has been computed on the basis of the Terms and Conditions contained within the current Standard Edition of the (JCT 2005 DOM1) Form of Sub-Contract Agreement including latest printed amendments. The appendices to include a schedule of agreed fortnightly dates for submission of interim applications and dates when cheques will be paid.

3) SITE HOURS
We have included for working a Monday to Friday working week, starting at 7.30 am and finishing at 5.30 pm, to and from our yard in Shaftesbury, Dorset.

4) BOND
We have not included for the cost of a Performance Bond.

5) WARRANTIES
With regard to the proposed Warranty, we confirm we will be happy to enter into an Employer / Sub-Contract Agreement based on the standard Form of Agreement for Collateral Warranties prepared and approved for use by B.P.F. (British Property Federation), A.C.E. (Association of Consulting Engineers), R.I.B.A. (Royal Institute of British Architects) and the R.I.C.S. (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors).

6) DAYWORKS

Should the need for dayworks arise, we would advise that we shall require the following percentages to be applied to the current RICS definition of dayworks to cover incidental costs, overheads and profit:

All hours associated with the execution of dayworks, including mobilisation of all resources and transference to work area, to be chargeable and recoverable at the following rate:

Tradesman @ £39.00 per hour per man
Labourer @ £34.00 per hour per man
Lead worker @ £46.00 per hour per man
Single Ply Worker @ £46.00 per hour per man
Specialist sub-contractor nett cost + 15%
