Pleased with the end result and the care that was taken

This is just to thank you, rather belatedly, for all the work that you carried out on replacing our roof. We are very pleased with the end result and the care that was taken in carrying out the work.

I would particularly like to thank Adam for his positive approach and care to doing the work in the very wet weather and managing to keep our house dry. It made the works seem less stressful for us knowing that we could rely on him doing the best he could in difficult conditions.

We also found all of your other workers polite and keen to do the best job possible.

Workmanship and Attitude

I need to write to you regarding one of your roofers who attended to our roof recently.

His workmanship and attitude on site was exemplary. The attention to detail and cleanliness of the site when finished was beyond the call of duty. I noticed his lead work when preparing the flashing and must say that the care and finish was extremely professional in every way.

You must be proud to have such a diligent and professional employee carrying out such spendid work.

You will be equally pleased to learn that to date we have not experienced any leakage from the roof that was causing concern.

Excellent Customer Service

Could you please pass on my thanks to Andy Moores and his team of ladies (in the office) and gents, for the way he and they responded to the emergency I had a few weeks ago, when the rain came in through my roof during the night.

Despite the ongoing work and new emergency work caused by the storm, Kavanagh responded to my situation sympathetically and quickly fixed my roof in between huge rainstorms that were still happening.

I am grateful to everyone at Kavanagh for their help and I will be telling my friends of the excellent customer service that I experienced. I am very happy with the estimate and the repair.

At a time when people seemingly find excuses to moan about everything, I just wanted to pass on to you out heartfelt thanks for the time that Andy [from Kavanagh Roofing] spent with me on Thursday.

Cheerful and Extremely Helpful

I am a builder (50+ years in the trade). Over the last 9 years I have had the absolute pleasure in buying materials from Kavanagh Roofing (15,000+ tiles, battens, Cromar etc). I firmly believe in making my satisfaction known, otherwise how would you know how your customers feel?

I placed a small order yesterday, William took the call, I want you to know that it is a pleasure phoning Kavanaghs, nothing is ever too much trouble, over the years I have dealt with you I have never known William to be anything other than cheerful and extremely helpful.

I can say the same for your other yard staff, on occasions if I get my wife to call in for materials, they will not let her carry anything, they put whatever she buys in the truck for her.

So thanks to all at Kavanagh for the past unbeatable service, personally it has been a pleasure to deal with you all.

We work for many of the major house builders, together with some of the smaller more general building contractors,and we are heavily involved with Aspire working on MOD base upgrading.

We have a fully CSCS carded workforce and all operatives will have undertaken the CITB health and safety training test.

Refurbishment

Refurbishment, Re-roofing, Small roof repairs

Kavanagh Roofing carry out all types of Roofing Refurbishment ,Re-roofing, Small Roof Repairs on existing buildings,this includes Chimney,Guttering ,Fascia and Soffit work.

The two photographs show a recent re-tiling contract.

The top photo shows the cottage before works with the main roof having been clad in an unsympathetic concrete tile and rather poor lead work.

The lower photo shows the cottage after works .The main roof has been clad in an Eternit hand crafted clay tile and the lead works renewed and tidied.

The lower roofs have had the old tiles reused.

We think overall the cottage has been enhanced by the use of more appropriate materials and improved leadwork detailing.

We pride ourselves that our lead work is one of the best in the area and can be verified by many of our clients who use us from housing to specialist works on listed buildings.

The type of lead we use exceeds anyone else's due to its durability and long life span ensuring your quality for money.

Roofing lead work

Single Ply

Kavanagh Roofing have been offering single ply roofing systems for a number of years and are using materials supplied by Cefil Ltd

Single ply has been available within the industry for some years offered numerous manufacturers but we have aimed in our opinion to offer one of the best systems on the market.

Cefil only operate using approved installers who have been vetted by them. Cefil unlike some single ply materials is not available to the general public or to the trade as a supply only material and can only be supplied and installed by approved fixers. This ensures quality is maintained.

We are one of the few installers in the South West and are able to cover the Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset area.

Cefil do not supply materials to non approved installers and it cannot be purchased from builders or roofing merchants.

All jobs have a site specific fixing specifications prepared before works commence and is inspected on competition by Cefil to confirm compliance and to issue their guarantee.

A Cefil guarantee (15 Yr min) can be supplied on completion of works.

It also worth remembering that single ply materials have no salvage value unlike lead and can therefore be used in areas were theft problems may be a consideration.
